I don’t know what it is up with tardigrades but that is the second time we have a question about them! I have to admit I had never heard about them before but I did some research for the last question (https://heartj18.imascientist.org.uk/2018/06/12/what-is-a-tardigrade-water-bear-and-why-does-it-look-like-an-airbag-also-because-it-is-microscopic-does-that-mean/) but they look cool! Judging by the interest of the students on this chat, I am sure they will be lots of world-leading experts on tardigrades in the UK in the next decades 🙂

Sorry to invade a different thread entirely, but I LOVE tardigrades!
Strangely cute even though weird insect looking thing.
Awesome name.
Lives just about everywhere.
Can survive in outer space for up to 10 days.
Can survive 1000x the radiation that would kill a human.
Totally amazing creatures!
