Haha! I love your question! To be honnest, I mainly stay behind my computer screen and go to the operation room only about once every month just to check the data I need is collected the right way… It makes things easier, but I am still forcing myself not to faint in the operation room because there is enough of one patient to treat!
It reminds me of a joke: A lifeguard on the beach is interviewing for a position as a salesman and the interviewer asks him how being a lifeguard makes you great at selling things. The lifeguard answers “because I don’t know to swim”. That is a bit my feeling from time to time…
But it doesn’t really affect my work. I am just proud that I am helping people doing something I am not confortable with in the first place. I love challenging myself and this is a great way to do this 🙂
