Let’s do a bit of maths 🙂 So at rest, an adult heart beats about 70 times every minute. There are 60 minutes in a an hour, 24 hours per day and 364 days in one year. So: 70 beats x 60 minutes x 24 hours x 364 days = 36,691,200 beats in one year. That’s more than 36 million beats!
