It depends on several things like how long has the Mum been pregnant for (the longer, the better are the chance of saving the baby) and when do we take the baby out of the Mum (the sooner after the Mum died, the better are the chances of saving the baby). If we leave the baby inside its Mum’s belly, it wouldn’t be fed anymore as its food comes from its Mum’s blood that stopped moving.

So it is possible to save the baby but it would need doctors to act quickly and hope that the baby is already able to live somewhere else than it’s mum belly (doctors would normally put it in what we called an incubator, which is a sort of box that is free from bad bacteries and viruses that could kill the baby, until he is old and strong enough to live normally).
