Question: You said that your days are busy but on average,how many people do you interact with a day?

Great question and had to really think about this so I would say on the average day I would interact with other lab staff so we have about 16 people in our lab per day less on night shifts. But we are constantly interacting to ensure that tasks are completed and other things. We also if time allows whilst working talk just as friends to. I receive on average 35 emails a day at work from various service users, blood banks etc which all need replied to in a timely manner. We also receive hundreds of phone calls from other parts of the building, labs, blood banks, hospitals all requiring blood. So I would say on average I would say probably about 150 people in a day it soon adds up I was shocked by this figure to once I actually thought about it and worked it out.
