I am using this section to demonstrate what my work involves:
Blood flow in the heart
The heart squeezes the blood into the whole body. At rest, the heart pumps 5 litres of blood per minute. However, at peak exercise, it can pump up to 20 litres of blood per minute!
-
My Typical Day:
A lot of writing, scanning patients in a magnet, analysing data and talking to other researchers.

What I'd do with the prize money:
I will develop a video to explain how the blood travels in the heart!
