• Question: how many arteries are connected to the heart ???

      Connected to the heart, only 2: one to send the blood to the muscles where it delivers its oxygen (the aorta), one to send the blood to the lungs where it gets replenished in oxygen (the pulmonary artery). However, these 2 arteries are then divided into many arteries, which themselves are divided into many arteries, etc, to connect your heart to the rest of your body.
      Fun fact: if you add the length of all the blood vessels in your body (arteries, veins, …), you get more than twice the circumference of the Earth!
