Just saved one today! I cannot give a number – but roughly depends on my clinical duty/rota. Normally, approximately 10 lives in a month.

Every day in my job people are receiving many blood transfusions to save lives so I am personally not giving these transfusion but the work we do preparing blood packs behind the scenes in the lab and having them ready for patients when needed is part of the big chain in ensuring that people survive.

I am still developing my technologies so they are not used yet to save lives. But they have the potential to save lots of lives by telling doctors when the patient needs urgent intervention!
