A PhD is a funny situation, I am a student but day to day what I do is more like a job than I student.
I don’t have any classes or courses to complete, instead I have my own research to do. I look at echocardiograms (these are ultrasounds of the heart, showing a black and white picture and videos of the heart) and I take measurements to see how the heart is working. I also spend some of my time reading about research other scientists are doing, and preparing to write a long essay/report on my work.
I hope this helps? If not please ask more questions.
